Communication is referred to as the interaction of the players between ALL the elements of the game. It is often recognised as talking on the field “push on”, “man on”, “offside” etc, which is key to having a successful team and all very important, but there is more than just verbal communication between players. There is also how the condition and dimensions of the field can change the way you need to play and the communication between the referee and the players. Football is a dynamic game, it’s changing every second and so to be able to understand what the game is communicating to you quickly and respond to this allows you to have the edge.
